Metaeaux is an electronic music project that began in 2003. I was heavily inspired by braindance, in particular Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Autechre and Boards of Canada and I decided to experiment with DAWs like FLStudio and Reason. These days I use Ableton Live, FLStudio, Max for Live, an Akai MPK61, an Akai APC40 and an iPad. The word metaeaux is a portmanteau (a blend of two or more words into one new word) formed from the words "meta" and "portmanteaux", so in that sense, it is a metaportmanteau, or, a metaeaux.
