Milk Model Management is a Sydney based model management company that embraces and nurtures multicultural talent for the modelling industry.
I was responsible for the entire wordpress theme and build. The website features heavy use of jQuery to perform hover effects and filter transitions. AJAX was used to achieve dynamic filtering of the models via categories such as gender.

The Sing-a-ma-jigs Superstar
Roles: Developer
The Sing-a-ma-jigs Superstar is a competition for under 18s that allows them to showcase their talents as videos on the websites, and lets their peers vote for them. The winner gets to become a superstar and feature on television and magazines.
I was responsible for the entire build of the website, both front-end and back-end. The website is a pure Object Oriented PHP build. The website uses youtube videos and a custom skin for videos, and the CMS utilizes the Zend Framework and YouTube API for publishing entries to youtube. AJAX and JSON was used for voting and upload mechanisms.

Shamrock Insulation

Shamrock Insulation is a Sydney based insulation company.
I was responsible for building the wordpress theme, along with managing the wordpress deployment and configuration. I developed a custom NextGen Gallery plugin that added Sliding Boxes captions to each image. The customization further allowed other plugins such as Nivo Slider to perform transition effects, or any gallery of choice.

Rio Back To School

Rio Back To School was an online game competition that offered students a chance to win a trip to Dreamworld, having the entire theme park exclusively to themselves for the day.
I was responsible for the cut-up and build of the website, using php and mysql to store user details. jQuery was used to achieve lightbox effects which utilize scrolling, and pngFix was used for IE compatibility.

Eon-FX

Eon-FX is a company that specialises in leading edge time-lapse solutions. They provide professional high definition time-lapse acquisition for the construction and video production industries.
I was responsible for the conversion of the old website to a content management system meeting all the functional requirements. I also made contributions to the design and ensured IE compatibility from version 6 onwards. The website is based on Joomla, and features some heavily modified code to achieve the functional spec. Transparencies in IE6 are achieved with pngFix and jQuery.

Note Tower is a unique stationary tool designed to declutter and organise workspaces.
The website is quite a simple static website. I was responsible for the cut-up and build of the site. It features a flash animation intro and a contact form. Cufon is used to render the fonts, giving the website a greater style than what regular HTML/CSS markup would allow.

Protect Our Coral Sea is a website dedicated to spreading awareness and facilitating the creation of a fully protected Coral Sea Heritage Park.
The design of this website is quite beautiful. It is intended to give the user a glimpse into the beauty of Australia's coral sea. I was responsible for the initial cut-up and build of the site. There is great use of transparencies which creates difficulties when trying to get the site to work in IE6 which doesn't support transparency in png files. A handy jQuery tool called pngFix was use to allow the site to work with IE.

It features great use of the jQuery library to provide animation and an overall dynamic experience. The site also features heavy use of AJAX technologies for searches and displaying the product catalogue.

Sundaia Active & Lifestyle Wear is a small business operating in Byron Bay, Australia. They create beautiful yet simple clothing pieces designed to flow well with the body and allow one to feel comfortable and free. Perfect for yoga, gym, outdoors and at home.
The website features an online store built using the Magento eCommerce solution. I have been responsible for the build and configuration of the store as well as consulting and mentoring the business owners with regards to eCommerce and web technologies.

Practical Hydroponics & Greenhouses is a subscription only magazine for existing and intending commercial growers, industry service providers, researchers and educators, and anyone else with an interest in hydroponic and greenhouse technology.
The site features an osCommerce store. I am responsible for the design of the store which greatly departs from the typical osCommerce style. Along with the store, I built automated RSS feed support, and I have done occasional server maintainence to ensure that the site continues to function correctly.

Protected Cropping Australia is the peak industry body for the Protected Cropping Industry.
The site is divided between static html pages, an osCommerce store, and a phpBB3 message board. The design was done by Studio Canvas. I was responsible for the build of the website, and I continue to maintain it to this day.

Cubecap is a Canadian company dedicated to providing low cost, high quality products to enhance plant growth and reduce fungus and larvae infections.
The site is split into static and dynamic pages. It is localised into 3 languages, and many more languages are provided using Google translation services. The store is powered by Zencart, and it features a guest book powered by Lazarus Guestbook.
